Talbot Road, Southwark
Talbot Road comprises seven new-build houses positioned along a steeply banked site immediately adjacent to the Network Rail line. Appointed post-planning, Shorten supported the client through the Network Rail BAPA process and coordinated extensive works around retained trees under TPO protection. The technically complex site, involving retaining walls, split levels, and basement tanking, was resolved through clear, buildable detailing—simplifying delivery and reducing on-site risk through a robust and practical Stage 4 design approach.
