Staines Road, Hounslow

Staines Road comprises 64 apartments arranged across two blocks, one private and one affordable, on a prominent site in Hounslow. The front block provides five storeys with a traditional masonry structure with steel framing and hollow-core concrete plank floors and SFS top floor, while the rear block delivers four storeys of traditional build. Appointed post-planning for RIBA Stage 4, Shorten produced the full technical design within an accelerated eight-week pre-construction period, enabling site works to commence immediately to meet the client’s demanding delivery programme.
